The Regional Training Programme of the UNEP/GEF South China Sea Project was developed by the project’s Regional Scientific and Technical Committee. A total of seven regional training workshops were convened convened from April 2007 to June 2008 on mangroves, coral reefs and seagrass, wetlands, fisheries refugia, larval fish identification, and economic valuation.
